Seasonal Associate Head Boys Soccer Coach
Position Summary
The Associate Head Boys Soccer Coach will co-lead the Boys Soccer program with the Head Boys Soccer Coach by planning and delivering high-quality training, participating in game preparation, and co-managing the Boys Soccer program’s responsibilities during the MSHSL season. Additionally, a key responsibility to the position is co-leading and organizing Summer Programming during the MSHSL Summer Waiver period to maintain athlete opportunities, increase retention, and attract prospective student-athletes.
Stipend Pay Range: $3,500 - $5,000
Key Responsibilities
- Co-Lead Team Operations: Partner with the Head Coach on practice design, match-day strategy, lineup decisions, and in-game adjustments.
- Curriculum Design: Deliver technical and tactical training sessions for Varsity while mentoring Junior Varsity and developmental coaches to ensure program-wide alignment.
- Performance Analysis: Conduct video review, scout opponents, and develop comprehensive game plans.
- Summer Program Ownership: Lead the design and execution of summer training, including scheduling, facility management, and family communications.
- Logistics & Budgeting: Oversee equipment inventory, uniform coordination, transportation planning, and budget tracking.
- Staff Development: Assist leadership in the selection, evaluation, and retention of program coaching staff.
- Player Welfare: Enforce safety protocols, including concussion management and risk mitigation, in coordination with athletic trainers.
- Culture & Recruitment: Foster positive relationships with families and boosters; support student-athlete recruitment and retention through an active off-season presence.
- School Representation: Participate in staff development, fundraising, and community events as a visible leader of the athletic department.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of soccer coaching methods, tactics, and player development.
- Previous experience coaching high school, collegiate, and/or club soccer; experience as an associate/assistant or head coach.
- Coaching certifications preferred (USSF, NSCAA/United Soccer Coaches, Safe Sport, and/or accredited degree in the field of education) or willingness to obtain.
- MSHSL Head Coach Certification or willingness to obtain.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to plan and run effective youth camps independently and collaboratively.
- Current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
- Commitment to the mission, values, and academic standards of Academy of Holy Angels.
Working Conditions & Schedule
- MSHSL Season (August-October) commitment (practices, matches, team meetings).
- Summer Waiver period: planning and delivery of summer sessions (days/times to be determined; may include daytime hours).
- Outdoor field exposure; must provide transportation to away contests as needed.
Compensation
- Commensurate with experience and the AHA coaching stipend scale.
- Summer Waiver compensation in accordance with school policy.

Seasonal Assistant Girls Lacrosse Coach
JOB DESCRIPTION
Academy of Holy Angels is hiring an Assistant Coach for the Girls Lacrosse program. This coach is responsible for assisting the head coach in motivating, instructing, mentoring, and coaching high school athletes. Transformational coaching geared toward individual and team success.
2025-2026 Season dates: March 30, 2026 - June 13, 2026
Stipend Pay Range: $2000-$3000
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Plan, attend, and supervise the team to and from all practices and competitions.
- Follow all MSHL rules and regulations.
- Attend the annual spring coaches meeting.
Other:
- High school or college Lacrosse participation is preferred
- Experience coaching Lacrosse or other competitive sport is preferred
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
Licensing Requirements:
Applicants must possess a coaching license or complete an MSHSL alternative program.

Seasonal - B-Team Coach - Baseball
JOB DESCRIPTION
Academy of Holy Angels is hiring coaches for the Baseball B team. Coaches are responsible for motivating,
instructing, mentoring, and coaching high school athletes, preparing them for the next level of play. The
season runs from March to May.
Stipend Pay Range: $2,000-$2,400
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, attend, and supervise the B level (15-20 games and 1-2 practices per week)
- Most games are after school at 4:30 pm. Most practices after school at 3:00 pm.
- Support the Head Coach's vision and assist with various duties within the program
- Possible paid coaching opportunity in the summer (JR Legion/SR Legion)
- Follow all MSHSL rules and regulations
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- High school, college, or competitive baseball participation is preferred
- Strong knowledge of the sport, substitution rules, and MN High School pitch count rules
- Experience coaching baseball is preferred
- Satisfactory completion of a background check
- Practices take place at Holy Angels, and Home games take place at Donaldson Park & Holy Angels
