Academy of Holy Angels is accepting online applications for the 2023-24 school year. On March 1, we transitioned to rolling admissions. This means applicants will be accepted in the Class of 2027 as space allows.
Students who are considering transferring to AHA need to complete steps one to four. AHA is currently accepting applications for students entering grades 9-11.
Follow this process to submit a formal application for admission.
STEP ONE: Complete the online AHA Application for Admissions.
To begin your journey with AHA, a parent or guardian will create an account with our online learning and grades system, myAHA, and complete the application on behalf of the applicant. If you already have a myAHA account or have an inquiry form that's been processed by us, you will be prompted to log in with that email.

After you submit the application itself, you will receive a confirming email with links to additional required documents. Once the application has been processed, you will be assigned an interactive checklist that you can use to track your progress with Steps 2-4.
STEP TWO: Typed 400-Word Student Essay
In a formal essay of approximately 400 words, students will explain three things about themselves that their records may not tell us. In addition, they will be asked to end their essay with two reasons why they feel AHA is the right fit for them.
This essay can be uploaded as a part of the onine application (step one) or uploaded separately later in myAHA as a part of the interactive checklist.
STEP THREE: Parent Request of School Information Release
Once your online application has been processed, an electronic form will be assigned to you and you will receive an email invitation to complete it.
AHA will send your electronically signed Parent Request of School Information Release to your child's current school to gather all academic and behavioral transcripts and documents. For first round applicants, this happens in early January.
STEP FOUR: Two Teacher Recommendations
One of these recommendations must come from a current math or English teacher, while the other may come from any other current teacher in a core subject such as social studies, science, religion, or world language.

The preferred method to submit the additional application materials is to log in to myAHA and upload them through the interactive checklist, which will be available to parents after the inquiry form or online application (Step One) is processed. Materials that are uploaded directly to myAHA will be processed quicker and you will receive an email confirmation when each step is completed. Alternatively, materials can be received by AHA Admissions at admissions@ahastars.org, or by mailing it to Attn: Admissions, Academy of Holy Angels, 6600 Nicollet Ave S., Richfield, MN 55423.
