The Admissions team thanks everyone who attended our Winter Open House on Thursday, January 9! It was great to see so many new families who are interested in joining our community this upcoming school year. If you were unable to attend, consider joining us on Wednesday, January 15, for our Parent Observation Morning. You can register for the event HERE.
We had an amazing turnout on Saturday, January 11, for the Eighth Grade High School Placement Test. There were students from 43 different grade schools who tested with us. Don't forget our make-up date is Tuesday, January 14. We have also just added Tuesday, January 21, from 8:00-11:00 AM. You can register for those testing dates HERE. If you are unable to attend the make-up dates, please contact Meg Angevine to schedule a date in the near future. AHA will send students their test results as soon as we receive them. If you tested at another high school, please follow up with their Admissions department to have your child's results sent to us so we can complete their application status.
Thirdly, the priority application deadline for students entering ninth grade in the 2020-21 school year was also on Saturday, January 11, 2020. The Admissions team will be contacting families this week to confirm the status of your application. Don't worry if you missed the priority deadline! You can still submit an application and they will be reviewed on a rolling basis according to availability. Please remember that TADS applications (for financial aid) are due by January 15, 2020. If you have questions about this application, contact Nancy Cullen at 612-798-2615.
Families who completed their applications by our priority deadline can expect their acceptance packets in the mail during the week of February 14th. This packet will include information about acceptance, scholarships awarded and Registration Night. Registration Night for students accepted in the Class of 2024 will be on Thursday, February 27.
Finally, prospective students still have the opportunity to spend a school day on campus. There are five days remaining in January and we will be adding a few more for February. You can register for a student visit HERE. Parents can also still request personal tours and meetings with our Admissions team.
If you have any additional questions, you can contact Meg Angevine (email@example.com) or Joe Berg (firstname.lastname@example.org).
