The priority application deadline for students entering ninth grade in the 2020-21 school year is quickly approaching. We are excited at the number of families who have already submitted their applications and registered for the Placement Test (Register HERE) on Saturday, January 11. All applications received by January 11 will be eligible for the St. Joseph Academic Scholarship. Applications submitted after January 11 will be reviewed on a rolling basis according to availability. Please remember that Academy of Holy Angels is committed to working with families to make tuition affordable through need based aid and merit scholarships.
Follow the four simple steps below to submit a formal application for admission:
STEP ONE: Complete the AHA Application for Admissions.
- You can apply online here or print the application here. After you submit the application itself, you will receive a confirming email with links to additional required documents.
STEP TWO: Typed 400-Word Student Essay
- In a formal essay of approximately 400 words, explain three things about yourself that your records may not tell us. In addition, end your essay with two reasons why you feel AHA is the right fit for you.
STEP THREE: Parent Release of Information
- AHA will send your signed Parent Release to your child's current school to gather all academic and behavioral transcripts and documents. You can print the Release Form Here.
STEP FOUR: Two Teacher Recommendations
- One of these recommendations must come from a current math or English teacher, while the other may come from any other current teacher in a core subject such as social studies, science, religion, or world language. You can print the Recommendation Form Here.
