WE WANT YOU TO KNOW
Update on safety and security measures
School safety and security is important to all of us. At AHA, we have taken steps over the past few years to control who enters the building by having only one entrance available during the school day and by having a lobby supervisor to greet visitors and have them sign in. Last year, we also asked AHA staff to meet their visitors to escort them through the building.
As added security, we have installed a buzzer system to the Main Lobby Entrance. When you visit AHA from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m., you will be required to be buzzed in. The buzzer is located inside the Convocation Center doors to the right. You must press the button for the lobby supervisor who will activate the entrance to the building. This process allows us to further control who enters the building. We will begin to use this process on Tuesday, September 4.
Thank you for your assistance, as we continue to review how we can keep our students, staff and visitors safe.
Plan ahead for road construction
There are many ongoing road construction projects in the area. Please allow extra time for the morning commute. Students are tardy if not in their classroom by the time the bell rings at 7:50 am.

The store is open from Monday to Friday from 7 to 8 am and then again from 11 am to 1 pm. You are invited to stop in and pick up school uniform-approved sweatshirts or spirit wear.
Rosary on Wednesdays
A group of faculty and staff meet every Wednesday morning at 7:15 a.m. to pray the rosary during Ordinary Time in the Chapel on the 2nd floor. Please join us if your schedule allows - all are welcome. We are usually done by 7:30 a.m. so you are able to get on with the rest of your busy day.
Booster Club passes are available online
The AHA Booster Club sponsors a pass that is available for purchase and provides admission to all home athletic events (excluding hockey and MSHSL tournaments) and admission to all home fine art activities. The pass application is available here.
How to contact an AHA staff member, teacher, or coach
