AHA will be testing School Messenger for emergency communication on November 3
AHA uses a program called School Messenger to notify families when there is an unplanned school closing or any other emergency communication. In the late afternoon on November 3, you should receive a test voicemail on all of the phone numbers you have on record with us. If you would like to make any changes to how you receive emergency communication from us, please update your profile through a secure connection on our website. Go to our website, click on Parents in the upper right hand corner and then Update your Contact Information on the right hand side.

Jostens Rep. will speak with Seniors about graduation on Nov. 13
Our Josten’s Representative will be here on Monday, November 13, to speak with your seniors. This expense is covered by the graduation fee you have already paid Holy Angels. All students will be given a packet of information regarding other graduation products like announcements, picture frames, etc. If you would like to order any other products, you will be able to complete an order online directly through Jostens. Questions? Contact Ms. Kjorstad, Graduation Coordinator at email@example.com

The second service assignment towards the Stars Service Requirement has been assigned in all theology classes, grades 9-12. Welcome Desk Help Wanted
We are seeking some additional staffing coverage for our Welcome Desk in the Convocation Lobby for Saturdays beginning at 2:00 pm and also on Sundays. This is a new need due to expansion of Gym use for Foot Sol Soccer and other occasional uses. We will provide all training and there is lots of flexibility to study, read, or work on your favorite wireless device while attending the desk. This need will begin in November and run into at least March. If you have an interest in a great part time gig through the winter months, please contact Dave Knoll at firstname.lastname@example.org to inquire. Lobby desk staff must be 18+ as always.
Please complete Fall Sports Surveys
Fall sports surveys were sent out last week to the email address used to register your son or daughter for their fall sport. Please take the time to fill out the survey. If you have any questions, please contact Carolyn Arnebeck at email@example.com.
Note from Admissions
Our Fall Open House was an amazing success, as we welcomed families from at least 35 schools around the Twin Cities. The school was abuzz with returning alums, prospective families and current families who now have siblings ready to attend AHA. We hosted over 50 more families than last year, and want to keep the momentum going. THANK YOU to all of our many volunteers who helped to make this a wonderful event. PLEASE continue to spread the word about Holy Angels to family, friends and coworkers...we're hoping for a wonderful Class of 2022! Go STARS! Questions? Contact Meg Angevine, firstname.lastname@example.org.

Senior Parents: A word of advice for completing the FAFSA
The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is now available online at https://fafsa.ed.gov Here are a few tips that may help as you complete the FAFSA:
- One parent and the student must each create a FSA ID. This can be done at the following site:https://studentaid.ed.gov/sa/fafsa/filling-out/fsaid
- STUDENT and PARENT MUST USE DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESSES to create your FSA ID. Write your username and password down. When you are completing the FAFSA, this username and password are your FSA ID.
- Seniors--we recommend you use a different email than your ahastars email to create your FSA ID as this will be your ID throughout college and your ahastars email will be inactive after graduation.
- Complete the FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov/
