Today at Convocation, the school's faculty and student body celebrated seven AHA seniors who have received exemplary academic honors. Jack Bridgeman, Caleb Peichel, and Jocelyn Reiter are semifinalists in the National Merit Competition. Conor McGarry and Julia Zappa are commended students in the National Merit Competition.  And for the first time in the school's history, AHA has three students who achieved a perfect ACT score of 36: Tyler Douglas, Grace Kopischke and Caleb Peichel.  Caleb Peichel has both a perfect ACT and is a National Merit semifinalist!

Academy of Holy Angels offers 17 Academic Placement (AP) courses. These seven students have averaged 9.4 AP courses each. The most any one of them has taken, or is enrolled in, is 11, and they collectively have enrolled in 66 AP classes. Their average GPA is 4.07.

Upon introducing the students in Convocation, Principal Heidi Foley shared, "These students have participated in summer programs at the University of Notre Dame, Model UN, Eagle Scouts, and are Annunciation Youth Minister leaders.  One worked on an Asteroid Orbital Determination project with research grade telescopes.

They are Campus Ministers, artists, stage performers, service award winners, athletes and activities participants, among their many pursuits."

The students then introduced themselves and shared their future college plans and professional hopes and endeavors.  Following, they were joined by their proud parents with a celebration in the Parlor.

Congratulations to these seven seniors for their outstanding academic achievements!
