Mentoring Mondays begin on Sept 11

The Campus Ministry Team seniors (CMT) will mentor 9th graders on Mondays in homeroom throughout the year. The goal of the mentor program is to help 9th graders become fully involved in their school community. During homeroom meetings they will discuss many topics ranging from academic integrity to what color to wear to the football game.  During the first trimester, 9th graders will also be invited to serve alongside their mentor as a way to introduce them to service expectations at AHA.

Service Announcements

Students who completed service hours (not the same as work study hours) during the summer can add hours to x2VOL to meet their service requirement for the upcoming year. Remind them to login through Naviance Family Connection, available on the Students tab of the AHA website. Students in grades 10-12 need 20 hours submitted between June 3, 2017 and May 25, 2018. Students earning Blue (for 40 hours) and Gold (for 60 hours) need to have those hours completed and submitted between June 3, 2017 and May 1, 2018. When students attend mission trips and other immersion experiences, they can submit a maximum of 8 hours per day for each day. Ninth graders will get information and account info at the end of September. All grades will be assigned service in theology classes to be completed before mid trimester. Get more information.
