Updated

Yami Carrera Mora '26 and Diana Llapa '26 were awarded the prestigious Evans Scholarship at the University of Minnesota through their hard work and dedication in the Western Golf Association (WGA) Caddie Academy! This summer, Yami and Diana will serve as junior counselors in the Caddie Academy program.

Josemaria Lozano-Analco '29 has also been selected to participate in the Young Men Caddie Academy in Evanston, Illinois, this summer. His interviewer called him a "trailblazer" as he is the first student from MN ever selected for the program!

The WGA Caddie Academy's mission is to "use caddying, the game of golf and the Evans Scholarship to create life-changing opportunities for young men and women nationwide". Off the golf course, the program features test preparation, college visits, guest speakers, field trips, and more.

The Evans Scholarship awards full housing and college tuition to outstanding caddies in this program. Scholars are selected based on their caddie record, grades, and character.

Congratulations to these STARS on these incredible achievements!
