AHA Class of 2029
Updated

This story was originally featured in the Communiqué (Fall 2025 edition).

2025 was an incredible year for Academy of Holy Angels! We are thrilled to share that our incoming 9th-grade class is the largest in the past five years and that our enrollment is growing! While 86% of our new students come from Catholic grade schools, we also welcomed students from 21 different public and charter schools and over 40 communities. Remarkably, 24 students from our Class of 2029 are the only ones from their middle school to enroll at AHA, showing that we are reaching new families like never before.

Our admissions team is dedicated to creating a welcoming and exciting environment for each family that walks through the doors at AHA. Admissions Director Dan Keller, Associate Director of Admissions Joe Berg ’05, and Admissions Assistant Ciara McCrory ’21 each build personalized, intentional connections with prospective students and their families.

Admissions Director Dan Keller knows the admissions process never stops: “We are always spreading the good news of AHA. Many times when Joe or I are out in public wearing AHA gear, we are stopped by people who want to share memories of Holy Angels or ask questions about the school. A key for our team is to recognize that each connection is an opportunity to share more about Holy Angels with families throughout the Twin Cities.”

Many new families note that AHA’s consistent leadership, faculty, and staff create a stable and nurturing environment for their child’s educational journey. The average tenure of our teaching staff and leadership team is twelve years, providing a stability that empowers AHA to innovate and expand programs that prepare students for the world ahead. Our nationally recognized academic curriculum is thoughtfully crafted to help students become the best versions of themselves.

According to Director of Advancement Jesse Foley ’89, there are additional reasons for the increase in enrollment. “Generous donors have truly embraced the challenge of keeping AHA accessible for all families. Our alumni and parents also continue to spread the good word in the community about the transformative benefits of an AHA education. We are counting on them to keep it up!”

Looking ahead, we are excited to extend the AHA experience to even more students. Together, we are shaping the next generation of leaders ready to make a difference in our world.
