AP Honor Roll

A total of 308 students participated in AHA’s Advanced Placement program, taking 649 exams across 18 AP course offerings, showcasing both students' dedication and the wide range of opportunities available to challenge themselves academically.

The AP Honor Roll recognizes schools that not only broaden access to advanced coursework but also help students succeed and earn college credit. Achieving Platinum demonstrates AHA’s commitment to fostering a college-going culture, supporting student achievement, and encouraging students to take multiple AP courses throughout high school.

Principal Heidi Foley shared her pride in the accomplishment:

“Being recognized at the Platinum level for the third year in a row is a reflection of the incredible commitment our students and faculty make every day. This honor celebrates the hard work, dedication, and passion that make AHA’s AP program so strong.”

Some of the benchmarks for Platinum recognition include:

  • Ensuring 80% of the Class of 2025 experience at least one AP course before graduation.
  • Helping 50% of the Class of 2025 earn college credit with AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.
  • Creating opportunities for 15% of students to complete five AP courses duringtheir high school careers, beginning in 9th or 10th grade.

This milestone highlights AHA’s ongoing dedication to academic excellence and preparation for college, careers, and lifelong learning. Learn more about AHA’s AP and college preparatory programs HERE.
