Alumae in the AHA lobby

Academy of Holy Angels was honored to welcome over 150 alumnae back to campus for the fourth annual Calling All Angels Alumnae Luncheon. The day began with alumnae joining our students for the school’s weekly convocation, offering a fun opportunity to experience the energy of Holy Angels.

During convocation, guests witnessed several special moments, including the recognition of members of the Class of 2026 who will continue their athletic careers at the collegiate level, as well as the celebration of senior Quinn Kelly, who earned second place in the Catholic School Visual Art Exhibition. Alumnae also enjoyed heartfelt remarks from Mary Hendrickson Kelly ’68, who reflected on her family’s remarkable Holy Angels legacy spanning four generations.

The program also featured a beautiful May Crowning ceremony, in which Pat McGruder Willette '62 and her granddaughter Ava Willette crowned the statue of Mary, reminding all in attendance of the deep faith tradition that continues to guide the Holy Angels community.

Following convocation, guests gathered for a luncheon served by Holy Angels students, staff, and parent volunteers before moving to the theater for a program. Attendees heard updates and reflections from Dr. David Sorkin, Heidi Foley, and a senior student, Diana Llapa. Alumnae also enjoyed a duet performance from the spring musical. One of the day’s most memorable moments came from Kay Ogren ‘49, the oldest alumna in attendance, whose reflections beautifully captured the lifelong connection shared by Holy Angels graduates.

As alumnae departed campus, each received a single long-stemmed red rose, a cherished reminder of the graduation traditions they experienced years ago as students themselves.

We are deeply grateful to the dedicated planning committee, volunteers, faculty, staff, and students who made this special day possible. We are also especially thankful to our alumnae community for embracing the event’s support of the Guardian Angels Fund, which provides critical assistance for students and families with financial need. The generosity and enthusiasm shown throughout the day were a powerful reminder that the Holy Angels community continues to live out its mission.
