Updated

On October 10, 2024, the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis celebrated the achievements of its educational leaders at the third annual Archdiocesan Catholic School Leadership Banquet held at the University of St. Thomas. The evening commenced with Mass at St. Mary’s Chapel, officiated by Archbishop Bernard Hebda.

The banquet recognized the essential contributions of archdiocesan pastors and heads of school. New AHA president Dr. David Sorkin was honored for his five years of prior leadership at St. Hubert’s Catholic School in Chanhassen, as well as for his recent appointment as president of AHA. In addition, Tom Shipley, former AHA president, was also celebrated for his remarkable 13-year tenure at the school, reflecting a legacy of dedication and commitment to Catholic education.

The event not only highlighted the accomplishments of these leaders but also fostered a sense of community among the archdiocesan pastors and heads of school who are dedicated to advancing the mission of Catholic education within the Twin Cities. Congratulations to Dr. David Sorkin and Tom Shipley!
