In recognition of her excellent high school soccer, basketball, and softball careers at Academy of Holy Angels and her collegiate success in basketball and softball at the College of St. Thomas 

TYLER HOWELLS '02 
AHA ACTIVITIES HALL OF FAME INDUCTEE
In honor of his highly successful high school athletic career, which included earning All-State recognition in hockey and soccer, nine athletic letters, and MVP honors on the 2002 State Championship hockey team, as well as his collegiate and 
professional hockey successes

In recognition of his remarkable career in AHA theater, where he was highly skilled at constructing sets, lighting, and sound design. In addition, for his professional accomplishments and expertise as a technical director and theater educator

In honor of their support of AHA as parents and alums and most notably for the key role they played in the initial development and growth of Rock the Lawn (serving as chairs for two years)

Here are all of the Academy of Holy Angels Angelus Award Winners:

The Possumus Community Service Award is presented to AHA community members whose volunteer service efforts and positive energy have enriched the AHA community. The Latin word Possumus means “we can” and has long been the motto of the Sisters of St. Joseph, the founders of AHA.

The Academy of Holy Angels' Rising Star Young Alumni Award recognizes the professional accomplishments and/or community involvement of young alumni under the age of 40 who have achieved significant success:

• as a student
• in professional endeavors
• in civic activities
• in community service
• and/or in involvement with the Academy of Holy Angels

In addition to recognizing these alumni and their accomplishments, the giving of this award seeks to provide role models for current AHA students and other young alumni.

Award Winners:

The St. Joseph Award was established in 1996 and is a lifetime achievement award for community members who are not Academy alumni, but who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made outstanding contributions to the school, their professions and the community.  To date, we have not awarded a Possumus Award to a St. Joseph Award recipient.

The Activities Hall of Fame celebrates the outstanding participants whom have brought honor to themselves, their school, and the community through their citizenship and achievements. The Hall of Fame recognizes coaches/moderators and community members who have made significant contributions to the AHA sports and activities programs.
