August 1 - Our Class of 2030 admissions checklist for the 2026-27 school year opens on August 1. Through our myAHA system, you can complete your application and sign up for exciting admissions events. Starting this day, you'll also be able to register for our Fall Open House, Family Tours, Shadow Days, and more.

Let your AHA experience begin!

September 9 - Family Tours during the school day begin September 9. These visits are designed for current eighth grade families (Class of 2030) and offer a firsthand look at our classrooms, campus, and community in action. Registration is available through your myAHA account. 

September 26 - Academy of Holy Angels offers a variety of events and opportunities for prospective families to visit campus. STARS Are Out Tonight is AHA’s beloved fall all-community celebration. Join us on Friday, September 26, for an evening of fun, laughter, and connection. This annual tradition is packed with excitement for all ages, featuring free inflatables, face painting, food for purchase, and so much more! After the festivities, stick around to cheer on our STARS Football team when they host SMB beginning at 7:00 PM.

October 1 - The Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) online financial aid application opens on October 1. The priority deadline to submit your completed application is December 15, 2025. Families who apply by the priority deadline will receive their financial aid decisions with their acceptance packet. We encourage early completion to ensure your award is processed in time.

October 23 - Join us on October 23 for our Fall Open House, the largest admissions event of the year. This special evening offers an inside look at life as a STAR through two key experiences:

• Academic & Activities Fair: Meet teachers, coaches, and activity leaders to explore our wide range of programs.
• Walking Information Sessions: As you walk through the building, you’ll stop at four key destinations, each highlighting a different part of the AHA experience. These are not guided tours, but a chance to hear directly from AHA community members as you move through campus.

Open House is great opportunity for families to ask questions, meet members of our community, and imagine themselves as part of AHA.

October 27 -Starting in October, eighth grade students are invited to experience a day in the life of a STAR through our Student Shadow Visit Days. Visitors are paired with a current 9th or 10th grader and will attend three classes and enjoy a free lunch in our cafeteria.

Shadow days typically begin between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM and conclude around 2:00 PM.

To maintain the personal, small-group feel that reflects our classroom environment, we limit the number of students per day. Early registration is strongly encouraged to reserve your preferred date.

Shadow visits can be scheduled through your myAHA account. 

Ongoing Personal Tours Available - Families are always welcome to schedule a personalized tour. These visits offer a closer, one-on-one look at our school in action and can be schedule through your myAHA account. 

November - In November, we will offer multiple morning Financial Aid Workshop sessions along with one evening session to help families prepare for the financial aid process. These workshops will walk you through completing the TADS application, explain the financial aid timeline, and provide guidance as the December 15 priority deadline approaches. Members of our admissions and business office teams will be available to answer questions and offer personalized support.

Families can continue to complete their admissions checklist, register for the January 10 Entrance Assessment, and schedule their personal tours through your myAHA account. These events and resources are designed to help you feel confident and informed every step of the way.

December 5 - On December 5, we welcome current eighth grade siblings of AHA students to spend the day on campus. This is a fun and informal way to experience AHA alongside a family member and see what daily life is like as a STAR. Looking ahead, our Sixth and Seventh Grade Sibling Day will take place on April 24.

December 15 (Priority Application Deadline) - Families should complete their admissions checklist by December 15 to be considered for first round admissions decisions. There are additional merit-based scholarships available for families who complete their checklist by the 15th. 

December 15 (First Round Priority TADS Financial Aid Application Deadline) - To be considered for first round financial aid awards, families must submit the TADS application by December 15. Those who meet this deadline will receive their full financial aid package alongside their first round admissions decision in February. The TADS application is also required to be considered for AHA’s 50+ need-based scholarships. We strongly encourage all families seeking aid to apply by the priority deadline.

Throughout December, families can continue to complete their admissions checklist, register for the January 10 Entrance Assessment, and schedule personal visits and student shadow days through your myAHA account.

January 10 - All incoming 9th grade students are required to take the PreACT 8/9 Entrance Assessment Exam at AHA. The official testing date for the Class of 2030 is Saturday, January 10, 2026. Students who test at AHA on this date will be eligible for the Presidential Merit-Based Scholarship.

Please note that applications will not be reviewed by the admissions committee until the PreAct 8/9 is completed. 

Families can continue to schedule personal visits and student shadow days through your myAHA account. These experiences provide valuable insight into daily life at AHA and help families make informed decisions during the admissions process.

Mid-February - In mid-February, registration information will be mailed to students who applied by the priority deadline and were accepted into the Class of 2030. These packets are typically sent around February 14 and will also include any financial aid and scholarship awards for eligible families.

February 24 - Our official Registration Night is scheduled for February 24. After receiving your acceptance and completing your enrollment through TADS, students and families will meet with one of our faculty members to build their academic schedule for the 2026-27 school year.

Families may continue to schedule personal visits, student shadow days, and attend Parent Information Mornings through your myAHA account. 

March 2 - We will begin reviewing transfer applications on March 2 for students interested in enrolling for the 2026-27 school year. Transfer admissions are reviewed based on space and academic fit.

March 3 - Beginning March 3, AHA transitions to rolling admissions for the Class of 2030. Applications will be reviewed on a space-available basis, and all applicants must still take the placement exam at AHA to complete the admissions process.

Families are encouraged to continue scheduling personal visits, student shadow days, and attend Parent Information Mornings through your myAHA account. 

April - All registered families in the Class of 2030 are invited to attend our Welcome Night in April. This event is a great opportunity to spend time on campus, meet future classmates, and begin forming connections within the AHA community.

April 1 - Signed tuition agreements for incoming eighth grade students (Class of 2030) are due by April 1 to secure enrollment for the 2026-27 school year.

April 24 - Students in 6th and 7th grade who have a sibling currently attending AHA are invited to campus for Sibling Day on April 24. It’s a fun and informal way to experience AHA and get a glimpse of student life.

Throughout April, seventh grade families (Class of 2031) are welcome to tour and shadow. All families can continue to schedule personal visits and student shadow days through your myAHA account. 

AHA will host class placement tests for incoming ninth grade students who wish to be considered for advanced coursework during the 2026-27 school year.

Testing dates are as follows, all beginning at 3:30 PM:

• May 11 – Math
• May 12 – English
• May 13 – Science
• May 14 – World Language
• May 19 – Make-up date for all subjects

Our family tours and student shadow days will wrap up in early May as we transition into the end of the school year. These can be scheduled through your myAHA account. 

Family tours will resume in June for students interested in enrolling for the 2026–27 school year.

June 8 - We will host New Parent Orientation on June 8 for families joining the AHA community. This event is a great opportunity to meet other new families, hear from school leaders, and get your summer calendar set with key dates and upcoming activities.

Throughout the summer, AHA will offer a variety of opportunities for incoming freshmen to be on campus, connect with classmates, and begin their high school journey. Details will be shared in May.

Family tours for the Class of 2030 and transfer students will resume in mid-June. These visits can be scheduled through your myAHA account and are a great way to explore campus and ask questions as you prepare for the year ahead.

Newly enrolled students are encouraged to participate in summer workouts, StarPower, and other on-campus opportunities designed to help them stay connected, build friendships, and feel confident heading into the school year. These programs offer a great introduction to AHA’s community and student life.

Family tours for the Class of 2030 and transfer students will continue in July. These visits can be scheduled through your myAHA account and provide a helpful way to explore campus and connect with our admissions team over the summer.
