Summer Experience Camps

Campers will learn the fundamentals of high school dance team skills used in both our fall and winter programs, including pom, hip-hop, high kick, and jazz (turns, leaps, and jumps). Each day will focus on a specific style of dance and campers will learn some fun, short routines in each style. Conditioning and stretching exercises will kick off each day’s activities similar to our daily high school practices.

The Starliners are 2021, 2022, 2023 & 2024 Tri-Metro Conference Champions and hold a number of participation awards at the section and state tournament levels.

Join many of the current Holy Angels volleyball players for a week of fun, skill development, and games. Our camp features fun theme days daily such as crazy socks day. Grades 4-6 play with a VolleyLite ball, while grades 7-8 use the high school ball. Building the proper fundamentals of volleyball skills is emphasized. The STARS are back-to-back-to-back Tri-Metro Conference Champions.

Join AHA tennis Coach Steve Werle at Donaldson Park for four days of fun and exciting tennis games.  Students will work on and improve their tennis skills while having fun with a great coach and new friends.

Campers will get the opportunity to work with our current & former girls basketball players and experience what the STARS do every day at practice. We will work on improving skills through a variety of drills, daily competitions, and games. Come and join us for four days of fun on the court and meet new friends from all over the metro! The STARS have advanced to six State Tournaments in the past eight seasons, winning the Class AAA Championship in 2016.

Campers will explore color, texture, shapes, and different types of painting materials. They will have the opportunity to experiment with watercolor, acrylic, and oil paints while expressing ideas through art.

Get to work on the AHA campus to hone your flag football skills.  Running, passing, catching, and kicking will make for an exciting four days of camps games as well as friendly football competitions.

This camp introduces students to the core skills of robotics and STEM through engaging, hands-on learning opportunities. Students will work with Lego Mindstorm kits, which include both electrical and mechanical components. There will be competitive challenges, including drag racing, fighting robots, and more!

Kick off the summer with Holy Angels historic soccer team by practicing your skills on the pitch.

Students will learn how to fly like the pros in the Drone Racing League by training on a flight simulator.  Once they learn the basics of flying students will take their drones to the skies and compete in numerous races and challenges

AHA Boys Basketball has a long and successful tradition - producing 2002's Mr. Basketball and NBA talent. This camp will consist of drill work to develop skills like ball handling, passing, and offensive/defensive concepts. There will also be many fun and competitive games.

The STARS Baseball camp will focus on hitting, baserunning, and defensive fundamentals. Due to the timing of the camp during peak youth baseball season - throwing will be limited to ensure proper arm care.

Participants will learn basic improv games, warm-up exercises, and develop a short scenario for a final performance at the end of camp.

Immerse yourself in the face paced game of lacrosse.  All skill and experience levels are welcomed to participate in a fun and welcoming lacrosse camp for both boys and girls

In Stagecraft/Set Building students will learn technical building principles and skills that can be used in theater as well as many general construction environments.

All levels of skill encouraged, and recommended if you’re interested in being involved with Starlight Productions’ set building crew.

Students will work throughout the week to construct different set pieces using cardboard and other materials

Students engage in table tennis skill development.  Students will get an opportunity to work and learn from skilled table tennis players.

Dive into the captivating world of creativity and technology at our Intro to Digital Art summer camp! Students will explore the fundamentals of digital drawing and apply what they learn to an exciting real world application.

If you like playing video games, you’ll love designing them! Trained instructors will teach students how to program their own video games using an engaging program called Kodu. They will create their own world, populate it with characters, and then play the games they create during class. Students will learn important programming skills while having tons of fun, with no prior experience needed!
