Merit-Based Scholarships

Presidential Scholarship

Academy of Holy Angels awards the Presidential Scholarship annually to eighth grade applicants. This is a Merit-Based Scholarship and does not require demonstrated financial need.

This merit-based scholarship recognizes eighth graders on their academic achievement on the AHA Pre-Act Placement Exam. 

In order to be considered for the Presidential Scholarship, eighth grade students must take the Placement Exam at Academy of Holy Angels on Saturday, January 4, 2025 or Tuesday, January 7, 2025. 

If your student is a recipient of this scholarship, you will receive an award notification letter in your acceptance packet in February. The Presidential Scholarship will be applied to the 2025-26 school year. 

St. Joseph Scholarship

Academy of Holy Angels awards the St. Joseph Scholarship annually to eighth grade applicants. This is a Merit-Based Scholarship and does not require demonstrated financial need.

This merit-based scholarship honors eighth graders who have consistently displayed the following areas throughout their middle school years:

• Academic Performance
• Character
• Involvement in the Community

If your student is a recipient of this scholarship, you will receive a award notification letter in your acceptance packet in February. This scholarship can be renewed over the four years of your students attendance at AHA. 

STARS Award

Academy of Holy Angels names the STARS Award annually to eighth grade applicants. This is a Merit-Based Scholarship and does not require demonstrated financial need.

This merit-based scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate the AHA Way through their everyday life and are committed to the mission of Academy of Holy Angels.
