Events

September 1 - Our application for the 2025-26 school year opens on September 1. You can complete your application, save your seat for the placement exam, and more through our myAHA system. THERE IS NO FEE TO APPLY AT AHA. In addition, you can begin to register for Open House, family tours, shadow days, and other admissions events that we offer throughout the school year. 

September 9 - Family Tours during a school day begin. These are for current eighth grade families (Class of 2029). You can register through our myAHA system. 

September 27 - Academy of Holy Angels offers a variety of events and opportunities for prospective families to visit campus. Our biggest event in September is our STARS Are Out Tonight community gathering. This family-friendly event has activities for all ages, including free inflatable games, wiffle ball, soccer games, face painting, and more. There will also be food available for purchase. All grade school students who pre-register will receive a FREE STARS shirt and admission to the home football game. 

October 1 - The Tuition Aid Data Services (TADS) online financial aid application opens. The Priority Deadline for the TADS application is December 15, 2024. Families who submit their application by December 15 will receive their financial aid awards in conjunction with their acceptance packet. 

October 24 - We host our Fall Open House in October. This is our largest admissions event of the year. The Fall Open House has two main components to give you a preview of life as a STAR: Academic & Activities Fair and Walking Information Sessions. 

Families can continue to schedule personal tours. 

November 4 - Our Student Shadow Visit Days begin in November. Eighth grade students can visit campus with a current 9th or 10th grader and experience three classes and FREE lunch. These visits typically begin between 10:30 AM-11:00 AM and conclude at 2:00 PM. In keeping with our small class sizes, we do limit the amount of visitors on each shadow day so we encourage families to register early. 

November 6 & 13 - If you were not able to join us for our Fall Open House, you should register for our Parent Information Mornings. We begin with a short presentation before touring campus with other parents. These typically last between 60-75 minutes. 

November 13 - We will be hosting an evening Financial Aid Workshop. This is a great opportunity to learn more about the financial aid process and timeline as the First Round TADS Financial Aid Application Deadline (December 15) approaches. Register HERE. 

Families can continue to complete their application, register for the January 4 Placement Exam, and schedule their personal tours through our myAHA system. 

**NEW** December 6 - We will be hosting our Eighth Grade Sibling Day on December 6. We will be hosting our 6th & 7th Grade Sibling and Cousin Day on April 25.

December 15 - First Round Priority TADS Financial Aid Application Deadline

Families can continue to complete their application, register for the January 4 Placement Exam, and schedule their personal tours and student shadow days through our myAHA system. 

January 4 - Our Priority Application Deadline is Saturday, January 4. Families should complete their application checklist in their myAHA system by January 4 to be considered in the first round decisions. 

January 4 - All incoming 9th grade students need to take the Pre-ACT 8/9 placement exam here at AHA.  The Class of 2029 testing date is Saturday, January 4, 2025. All students who test at AHA on this date are eligible to be considered for the Presidential Merit-Based Scholarship. 

Please know that applications will not be reviewed by our admissions committee until the applicant has completed the exam. AHA offers a variety of classes and these placement exams help with class selection when we build your student's schedule.

February 1 - The Second Round TADS Financial Aid Application Deadline

Registration information for the Priority Deadline applicants will be mailed to students who were accepted in the Class of 2029. These are usually sent out around February 14. 

Financial Aid and Scholarship Awards will also be communicated to our Class of 2029 applicants. 

February 25 - The Class of 2029 Registration Night is February 25. Once you receive your acceptance information and register online with TADS, you are ready to register for classes. Families will work with one of our counselors to build your child's schedule for the 2025-26 school year. 

Families can continue to schedule their personal tours and student shadow days through our myAHA system. We will also continue to offer our Parent Information Mornings. 

AHA transitions to rolling admissions on March 3. This means that applications will be reviewed as space allows in the Class of 2029. Students still need to take the placement exam at AHA. 

March 3 - We will begin to review all transfer applications for students looking to enroll for the 2025-26 school year.

April 1 - Signed Tuition Agreements are Due for the Class of 2029

We will host a Class of 2029 Welcome Night in April. All families who are registered for the 2025-26 school year are invited. It is a fun way to be on campus and meet new friends. 

April 25 - **NEW** 6th & 7th Grade Cousin and Sibling Day

Families can continue to schedule their personal tours and student shadow days through our myAHA system.

Seventh grade families (Class of 2030) can tour and shadow in the month of April. 

AHA will host class placement tests for incoming ninth graders who would like to take advanced classes for the 2025-26 school year. 

• May 12 at 3:30 PM - Math
• May 13 at 3:30 PM - English
• May 14 at 3:30 PM - Science
• May 15 at 3:30 PM - World Language

The make-up date for all subjects is Tuesday, May 20, at 3:30 PM. 

Our family tours and student shadow days will conclude in early May as we prepare for the end of the school year. You can register for these through your myAHA system. 

Family tours will resume in June for students looking to enroll for the 2025-26 school year. 

We will host a new parent Orientation on June 2. It is a great way to meet new families and get your calendar set for the summer months. 

AHA will host a variety of opportunities for our new Freshmen to be on campus. These will be communicated in May. 

Our family tours for the Class of 2029 or transfer students will resume in the middle of June. You can register for these through your myAHA system. 

New students can continue to attend summer workouts, StarPower, and other opportunities.

Fall sports begin two weeks before the first day of school.
