AHA hosts special events as a way to invite you to experience the AHA Way. Whether you participate by attending one or more performances, games, or an admissions special event specifically designed to inform, our doors are always open to you. We want you to get to know our AHA community personally and fully. Throughout the year, we host student and family events to connect newcomers to our AHA community. Dates for the 2016-2017 school year are as follows.
Stars Are Out Tonight: A fun event for the whole family-- Enjoy some games, food and fellowship, and celebrate the kickoff to the year with our AHA community before our home football game!
Future Star Visits: It's so important that students visit campus and see AHA for themselves. We offer Future Star Days where up to 25 visitors can be paired with AHA students or you can schedule a more typical day for an individual visit. School Day Visits happen throughout the year. Please refer to the 'Visit' page for information on scheduling a visit. We're looking forward to seeing you on campus! We've welcomed so many visitors to campus, and look forward to many more!
Open Houses: AHA is known for our festive and informative open houses. We offer these events so that families can learn about our school and community and feel the AHA energy. All open houses start at 6:00 pm. Whether your student is an 8th grader making the high school decision, or a 7th grader looking ahead, these events are tailored for you!
Parent Observation Mornings: While our Open Houses are informative and jam-packed, we also offer parents the opportunity to see what AHA is 'really like' from the eyes of a student, hear from current parents and staff and ask parent specific questions. We start at 8a.m. and usually end at 9:30 a.m. These morning visits are offered monthly on Wednesdays, October 5, November 2, December 14, January 4, February 15, March 15. Join us for one of these informal morning visits.
Minute to Win It Pizza Party: FRIDAY, JANUARY 6, 2017. 8th graders, join us for pizza and fun and play Minute to Win It, with prizes of course. Our AHA students are hosting, so come with your classmates and meet other 8th graders too. Stay for the Girls Varsity Basketball game and cheer for the STARS!
8th Graders: Saturday, January 21, 9:00 AM Registration. We are expecting a wonderful Class of 2021 and hope you take the High School Placement Test here at Holy Angels on January 21. Those students requiring testing accomodations should contact Janet Oliver at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm.
Those students who cannot take the exam on Saturday can register for our Make Up Exam on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, at 3:30 p.m.
Holy Angels is a place where high school students grow to be confident, prepared, and connected with their world—through an education grounded in the Catholic faith.
