Literary Merit Club (LMC) is an individualized reading option. LMC is open to all Holy Angels students, grades 9-12. It is easy to participate:
Participants will receive a LMC notation on their transcript, and awards on Celebration Day. Questions? Please talk to Mrs. Elling.
The Academy of Holy Angels will present these awards to students on Celebration Day.
Brownies and Books is a group book club. Book of the Month club discussions are open to all students and staff. We typically read 3-5 selections per school year, meet in the LaRock Room during 5th period lunches, and provide milk and brownies at our meetings. Each year one Minnesota author is featured and joins us for one of our discussions. Twenty-five copies of each book are given to participating students so they can begin to create their own personal libraries. Book titles are selected by Mrs. Elling with student input.
