Counseling

Guidance and Counseling

Counseling at AHA is divided into five sub groups.

  • The School Counseling Department staff deals with issues directly related to AHA academics and student life.
  • The College and Career Center helps students prepare for post-secondary education and for work.
  • Our school nurse works with students on physical health and wellness issues.
  • The Learning Variations Program works with students who have an educational diagnosis or learning variations plan.
  • The Response to Intervention Program works with students who need more academic support but do not have a learning variations plan.
