AP Testing

AP Testing

Taking the Advanced Placement (AP) exams is an important part of all AP courses. Academy of Holy Angels requires all students to take the AP exam for their AP class(es). Scoring well on an AP exam can earn students college credit or an advanced placement in the college curriculum. This varies from college to college and is determined by each institution. Most colleges and universities have this information posted on their website.

This is a reminder that if your son or daughter has an AP class, he/she will be taking an AP test in May. The cost for each test is $60.00 and is collected for most students via TADS in January. The only exception to the TADS collection process is for International Students. They must work/pay directly with/to the business office c/o Nancy Cullen (612-798-2615). Nancy's office is in the business area on 2nd floor administrative wing. Collections need to be completed by March 1st.

(Please note: this does not apply to Pre-AP courses). Pre AP courses are not AP courses and do not have national exams in the spring.

Please do not schedule college visits or vacations during the first two full weeks in May for your AP student scholar here at AHA. Thank you.

Get tips from the AHA guidance dept for helping your student prepare for the exams.
