From the Bard to Broadway, Holy Angels is all about theater!
For students who have a passion for (or just a mild interest in) theater, AHA's Starlight Productions is the place to be! Holy Angels stages four productions each year: a full-length play in the fall, a show for children during the Christmas season, a one-act play in the winter, and a musical in the spring.
For the serious theater student, there’s AHA’s Theater School—a one-of-a-kind in our region. By focusing their high school electives on theater courses, AHA students can earn a theater school endorsement on their diplomas.

Some things you should know about theater at Holy Angels:
- 9 appearances and Starred Performances in the Minnesota State High School League one-act play contest
- Critically acclaimed original production of Old Turtle in 2000; statewide tour and performances in Edinburgh, Scotland, Fringe Festival
- 35 active members in AHA Theater School
- 200 participante annually in school theater productions
- Graduates enroll in nationally recognized programs like the U of M/Guthrie BFA, NYU Tisch School of Theater, American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Los Angeles, and more
