Choral Music

Concert Choir: The Concert Choir is a SATB mixed choir that performs at regularly scheduled concerts and events during the school year.  Attendance at scheduled concerts throughout the year is mandatory. This choir is open to all students of the academy through registration.  Concert Choir members learn a variety of styles and structures of music through singing, listening and written work. Students develop their singing voices, listening and music reading skills while working on performance pieces.  Ultimately we work toward a blended choral sound in our ensemble.
 
Academy Singers: Membership in this before-school ensemble is by audition. This group is mainly an acapella treble voice choir and requires sight-reading skills, willingness to blend with a small ensemble of voices and dedication to weekly rehearsals on Tuesday and Thursday mornings.  The Academy Singers are featured at special events and concerts throughout the year. They participate in the Missota Conference Teble Festival each year and perform in our school concerts.
 
 Praise Group (Liturgical Choir): This group of instrumentalists and vocalists leads music ministry at all of the liturgies for our AHA community. The group is open to all students of the Academy and meets on Thursdays after school throughout the year.

• Praise Group is now meeting on Thursdays from 3-4 p.m. in the Music Room. Come join us!
• Academy Singers meet regularly on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the Music Room from 7:15-7:45am
