Alpine Skiing
Sarah Skogmo'14 competes at 2011 state meet
Based on her performance in the Section 6 meet on Tuesday, February 8, Sarah Skogmo earned a berth in the state meet in mid-February.
In addition, four skiers were medalists in the 2011 conference meet on February 4. They are:
- Katie Wier ’11, Bronze Medalist in the junior varsity girls
- Sarah Skogmo ’14, Bronze Medalist in the varsity girls
- Phil Skogmo ’12, Bronze Medalist in the varsity boys
- Jack Hillesheim ’11, Gold Medalist in the varsity boys
The Holy Angels Alpine Ski program was started with the 2008-09 winter season. The boys team placed third at the state tournament in both 2009 and 2010.
