International Students

Academy of Holy Angels is excited to welcome new students from around the world!

This year 13 students from six different countries are attending classes at AHA. Each one of these students brings wonderful gifts, experiences and perspectives that enhance our school community.

Some of our students come through a formal international program and live with host families, while others are living with relatives in the Twin Cities area. AHA’s administration, admissions, and counseling departments work to ensure that AHA is the right academic environment for each student.  Once here, international students benefit from AHA’s small class sizes, individual attention from caring faculty, faith formation programs, and college-prep curriculum.

AHA does not offer formal English Language Learner programming but can accommodate curriculum to assist with the academic transition to AHA.

Most international students who enroll at AHA are interested in receiving a high school diploma and typically attend class for more than one year.

Admissions Director Jesse Foley is AHA's DSO and is responsible for issuing the I20 after the student has been accepted and has submitted the necessary registration documents and $300 deposit.
