What is Starfest?

Starfest is a celebration of the AHA community.  It is a chance for all of us to gather together to reflect on the many great things that have transpired over the past year, to look toward our future, and to succeed in our goals for the AHA community.  The evening entails a silent auction full of great items, a delicious dinner, an exciting live auction and fun raffle games.

Where do Starfest proceeds go?

The proceeds of Starfest go directly back to support the programs, initiatives, and facilities that benefit our children and our school.  A large portion of Starfest proceeds support student financial aid to enable promising students the ability to attend AHA, provide access to technology and modern learning materials, assist in providing competitive salaries and benefits to teachers -- the heart of Holy Angels -- help us finish the construction of new classrooms, and to put it plainly, "keep the lights on" at our school.

How much money does Starfest raise and where does it come from?

Starfest 2009 raised approximately $150,000 to assist the school in covering its costs.  Starfest profits come from many sources:  live and silent auction proceeds, event ticket sales, generous sponsors and underwriters, raffle ticket sales and advertising revenue.
