Welcome to Academy of Holy Angels

Academy of Holy Angels is a Catholic, college preparatory, coeducational high school in Richfield, Minnesota serving students in grades 9 through 12. We welcome a diverse student body from 110 schools across the Twin Cities. Our small class sizes offer students big opportunities in education, faith, athletics, activities, and community.

Admissions

AHA is currently accepting applications for the 2023-2024 school year for students entering grades 9-11. We look forward to seeing you on campus soon!

Athletics & Activities

AHA is home of the STARS! Offering over 50 different extra-curricular activities, we encourage student participation in a variety of ways. We have a no-cut policy for 9th graders. The STARS have been very successful in recent years, earning 30 conference championships and 18 state appearances.

College & Career Center

Our full-service, award-winning College & Career Center partners closely with our students and their family throughout their four years at AHA. From day one, we build a personalized plan to meet the postsecondary goals of each student.

Faith & Service

Grounded by our Catholic faith and the mission of our founders – the Sisters of St. Joseph, service is deeply ingrained in our school culture. You’ll find it integrated into all aspects of school life, including academics, student clubs, athletics, and as yearly service requirements.

Tuition & Affordability

We are committed to partnering with families to make tuition affordable through both need-based and merit-based scholarships. It is our goal to make an AHA education a reality for a widely diverse community of students. As such, over 45% of our students receive tuition assistance.

STEM

We offer a specialty STEM Diploma to recognize students who master a rigorous course of study and who demonstrate 21st century skills in critical thinking, creativity, and collaboration. STEM students and teachers thrive in our new iCenter for STEM Education that opened in 2021.
